Hi guys,

I'm pretty psyched at work at the moment cos i'm getting to work on lots of awesome fantasy art books. Recently we finished John Howe's (of Lord of the Rings fame) latest book, Fantasy Drawing Workshop, which is a really ace book about John's sketching process, and also polished off Jon Hodgson's book Fantasy Art for Beginners. FAfB is really good because it's aimed at beginners (like me!) but also actually works - some of these books say they are for beginners but don't really work out... this one really does. BUT that's not to say the art is bad or basic, it's actually really good, really effective. I'm deffo going to start using the step-by-steps to help me learn how to do arty stuff (i apologise to the author in advance, for my blasphemous attempts!!)

More in the pipeline tho, i'm going to be working on Alan Lathwell's Warriors and Heroes, which is going to be really great, with awesome art, and might be working on Finlay Cowan's book Fantasy Characters. I'll keep you advised of excitingness later, and will post links when the books are available!
